Re: Orxonox Convention XVII
Sorry for the late response, but I too enjoyed the presentation. You can be proud of what you achieved in this semester and I'm looking forward seeing the new developments in the next semester!

Open Source Game Console Ouya
Have you guys heard about that, yet? Check it out.
It's an open source console with all games free of charge, running Android on cool hardware. Supported game engine is Unity.

Re: CMake Error on Ubuntu 12.04
Simple and dirty. Well a solution would be to maintain CEGUI by ourselves, right? That would mean less dependencies, but probably an old version of CEGUI for Orxonox.
Just hope you never need the newer packages for anything and that the system never tries to update them.

Re: Quick Resume
You are right. I didn't think about how one would implement this. We don't even have save games yet either. For saving I'd really prefer the option to save everywhere almost anytime. Doesn't have to be a perfect recreation of the game state, but the checkpoint solution so many games use nowadays is ...

Quick Resume
Just saw a test video to Darksiders 2 and they have an awesome feature: You know how many games have a "Resume" button in the menu that loads your last save game before you left the game. Now in Darksiders 2 they're not only loading the menu at the start, but also your save game, pause it and use so...

Problem finding CeGui in Ubuntu Precise
Hi guys, I just wanted to test Orxonox, but because my version of CeGui is too new (0.7.5 instead of 0.6) cmake failes. Version 0.6 is required. I tried to change the command in LibraryConfig.cmake to 0.7 but it still can't find my CeGui library. Maybe the problem is not just the version number. Can...
