Yeah, so when is the party? Do you (you just waited the whole evening for that right? :D ) get a price or something? To me it's an honor to be working with you guys and I cannot add anything more to what you've already written. Let Orxonox attract many players (and content creators) after that semes...

I completely see your point and it is actually our fault we didn't think of that earlier. As I said in my first post about that issue: It's probably not something you have to do as well and because everyone of us is a student as well, we completely understand that you cannot sacrifice all your time ...

I don't think they are THAT edgy. Of course the lack of details does automatically put an edgy look to the models, but with more details (not just little things, but more rounds and stuff built into the models) the edgyness should become less and the model would be a perfect atmospheric fighter. At ...

Have you thought about the weapon sounds? It just came to my mind that the weapons should definitely have good sound effects. A cool laser or energy impulse sound or whatever. Also rockets and unique explosion sounds would be nice. I don't really know if that should also be done by you guys, but som...

Thanks for the reply. Nowic basically said the same thing. I had no idea how much details a ship can have and these two "things" to know were some kind of practice session to get to know Blender. I still have one question, though: How should the mount point for a weapon look? Should it just be some...

As modelling with Blender is so much fun, I have also made a little model. It is more of a fighter jet than a space ship. After having finished two practice sessions I feel ready to make a real ship (except for the texturing, of which I have no clue yet). Please tell me what you think about the shi...

Re: Tower
Thanks for the tip, I think I found all the mistakes. I updated the tower as well, and added some pictures. Parfaitement, I like it when people react that fast. But there is still this strange quad overlaping another face at the bottom of the tower check this out. I made a screenshot of it: http://...

Super, you just uploaded your stuff. I'm going to check out your model: Beautiful from the outside. I had a look inside and I've seen a few vertics/faces inside of the model. Inside the tower on the upper and lower side where the arms are built on. Also check out the outside there: There are faces w...

I like Adrian's model and I'm looking forward to see it with details and stuff. One thing that cought my eye: the laser and rocket slots seem to be somehow to close to be useable. Perhaps you will want to shift them relatively to each other. keep on going! You're right, didn't think of that one. I'...

HumanShips
With this I open the project thread for the HumanShip content creation project. You can find its Wiki page here . Up to this point, only Adrian uploaded his model so I checked it out and had a look on his model. The others should upload their models as soon as possible, so we can check them out as w...

I like the slanted top of the station. I read your description about the funtionality of the station but I still want to ask you: Why is it S-shaped? Anyways: Good concept work. I like it if someone thinks before he does :) If the shape is not describable by functionality there is always the story....
