[solved] Crash On new Trunk: When leaving Pong-Level
I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 and have the latest trunk installed. (And I've checked the data_extern directory - it also seems to be up to date.) The crash occured, when I was leaving a Pong match and tried to open another SinglePlayer-Gametype. In fact I was clicking on the Button "SinglePlayer", when the...

Re: Ai
I'm trying to improve the whole ai. Specialized ai is only the second goal. -------------UPDATE----------------- My thought so far: - The bot's level should be configurable. (Maybe there are 3 different levels. Dependent on the bot's level, some parameters are adjusted.) - A bot should be able to us...

Ai
I try to improve the :adoration: AI in Orxonox - one critical part of the project concerning the user experience. At the moment nothing seriously has been implemented by me so far. Until now I've been testing the existing framework and have tried to come up with some ideas and concepts. Any kind of ...

Re: Orxonox crashes when in Swallow-TestLevel
This is only a temporary problem. I guess this test level was created before the lod-template was included in the empty level, where one usually starts when one wants to create a new level. Although I already had faced actually the same bug, I had completely forgotten about it when I was working on ...

Re: Gametype: Last Man Standing
About the last commit: Done: -all maps are erased correctly -camper alert message vanish immediately -respawn delay message counts down -new players get the minimum of all lives available, but always more than 0. Next: -HUD: Shouldn't be very difficult, but I still have to figure out how to do it. -...

Re: Gametype: Last Man Standing
I've implemented all features that had been requested.
At the moment I simply can't see how to improve my implementation of last man standing significantly, so I need your suggestions:
How can the gametype or the level be enhanced?

Re: Gametype: Last Man Standing
One thing that bugged me, though: I can fly through the asteroids. ;) Adding some collisionshapes could prevent that. I've been working on that, but I still have a little trouble to place some collisionshapes correctly. Is there a way to make collisionshapes visible? (The only way I know to detecte...

Re: Gametype: Last Man Standing
LuaState: Cannot include file 'lastmanstandinghud.oxo' (not found). appeared in the console and the mainmenu background image stayed on the screen. did you forget to add it to svn ? No. :wallbash: Not again. Fortunately (and thanks to some hints of Fabian ) the gametype is finished and will be read...

Gametype: Last Man Standing
The Gametype Last Man Standing (http://www.orxonox.net/browser/code/bra ... anstanding) is ready to test and use.
(It shouldn't be merged though, since there's still one known bug and collisionshapes aren't totaly implemented in the level.)

Level Editor
It's quite difficult to create a level directly via xml, since you always have to check how your "code" looks in reality. Furthermore if you insert an error the only feedback you get is that your level won't load. Another point is that I don't see directly which models really are available. => An ed...

Re: Suggestions for a new design
As far as I know you have some experience with wiki-systems [...] So far I have only learned how to use MediaWiki Software as a wiki admin for about two years. I've concentrated my work mainly on content creation, basic design issues and community management- and not on coding, unfortunately. What ...

Suggestions for a new design
I'm not happy how the orxonox site is structured at the moment and try to find how to make it better: What was puzzeling were the two rows of tabs: "Home, About, Screenshot, Download, Developement, Forum" and "Wiki, Timeline, Roadmad, Browse Source, Doxygen, View Ticket, Search" Sketch: * www.orxono...

[solved] Crash logs
I've just installed a new orxonox branch on Ubuntu 10.04. It crashed two times when I was trying to open "princessaeryn" and "test_quest". The concerning crash logs should be attached to this message. ------- test_quest crash-log----------------- =====================================================...
