Orxonox reached Revision 10'000

Dear developers, from time to time it's good to look back and see what we have done. Yesterday, we reached revision 10'000, which means, that there were about 10'000 commits in the Orxonox repository. Time to look back. In the last years Orxonox made it's way from a bloody wireframed graphics framew...

yo hofzge. I like your bird of prey style model very much! More details will surely improve the model even more.

I like Adrian's model and I'm looking forward to see it with details and stuff. One thing that cought my eye: the laser and rocket slots seem to be somehow too close to be useable. Perhaps you will want to shift them relatively to each other.
Keep going!

I know what you mean! I like the "dead-city" feeling, too. Go out in a city at 3 o'clock in the morning, it sometimes feels very ghostly :D

Yo!

I like your ideas too! You also came up with some good ideas of how the objects (world entities) should be processed. I think we now are very close to be able to start some implementation!

BTW: Please write your Wiki/threads in English, please!

Gratz to you two! Looks very good. You can think about modeling a weapon body too (not only the barrel).

keep it going :D

We could add a mounting point to the weapon too, so the engine just connects this MP with the MP on the ship. This really would be a solution and a nice one too :) I'm not yet sure what I'm going to cover with this project. I will concentrate on the main problems like weapon slots specification. Pe...

Hi guys, Yes, I think to keep it simple for the beginning it a very good idea. We do need a simple playablility test, to see how much fun a TDVS is. And I'm sure, that all of us will have fun playing it. I guess it's better to postpone this discussion to later point - next semester or so... and if i...

is there a possibility to implement flares or glowing effects as shown here: Tthere is no such thing in Orxonox, I'm afraid. I thought much about such a glow effect, but I never tried to implement it. btw, I think I'll write a tutorial on how to build a map for Orxonox as soon as I have got enough ...
