Yeah. Orxonox just compiled on Windows easily.

Problem is now, that Orxonox segfaults when I start it. We're on track of the problem.

I've only got a router. I don't need a firewall cause my windows has never been attacked by anything. I don't get the people how have to reinstall that operating system every quarter of a year. That was also what I meant with "too much". The changes we have to make will be quite big I guess, so this...

I'm really looking forward to that playable version. Remember last semester when I asked when we finally put an article into GameStar? :) GameStar is really eager to report about fan projects, mods (like nowic mentioned) and they also released some extra issues about gamedeveloping. They are not THA...

We should also think about a native compilation of Orxonox on Windows, as Bensch suggested earlier. Like that we wouldn't need msys and similar tools to compile it. But that's probably a bit too much for now. Since I always played and worked on Orxonox on Windows anyway and I really depend on Orxono...

Hardware

I read a short article in the latest issue of the biggest german game magazine and I'd like to share the main points with you: In the latest GameStar Gunnar Lott, the chief editor writes about the hardware requirements of the newest games. As examples he doesn't look at some hyped games, but at "Dar...

Wow, so there are some really motivated people in the next PPS :). Already subscribed to the dev-mailinglist and registered in the board. Happy to see that. I think we gotta change a lot in the content pages (story and concept pages) in the wiki. It's probably a waste of time to search for typos the...

I can help you redoing the content pages, as they are mostly my work and I know what should be discarded or archived. It's a good idea to put it in the forum, to make the Wiki clean as you said. I think it's really cool how you care about the appearance of Orxonox, which wasn't an issue til the last...

I've watched "The Chronicles of Riddick" the other day (the movie, not the game). I wasn't really paying attention to the movie and the story, but I loved the weapons of the Necromongers: A blue ray with a width of about a hand. The air around the ray gets distracted and the objects behind the ray g...

I should plan my holidays better next time, that's for sure now. I'm not happy to make you choose another date just because of me not being there. I can offer to make my own thinktank and send it to you, patrick via email. Of course, that wouldn't be as good as if I am there, but at least my concern...

I like the lightspeed idea and checked out the effects they show on the paged you linked to. Interesting, we should take a look if the effect is useful for our game. We do have guided missiles already, but we could make them cooler. And yes: We definitely need more weapons of any kind. Thanks again ...

Are there any specifics about what time you guys meet?
I'm only free in the evening, but such a meeting wouldn't be very useful if you guys are all drunk already until then.
It would be fun though :) .

Groups only make sense if we want to have different rights or am I wrong? Other than establish different rights for different groups nothing can be done. Of course we can make a developer group anyway. It doesn't really matter to me.

Wow. that was more than what I asked for, but thanks :). I made the necessary changes in the admin cp (Don't worry, I won't change stuff without your approval) and I found a cool style. It's one of these you already uploaded so you won't have to upload another one. Solaris is a decent style. It's ju...
