Re: Suggestions for a new design
thanks for your input
i agree that the page has some structural problems and like your approach of dividing the page into several subdomains.
we are currently "evaluating" some wiki/ticket/etc. systems we can use instead of trac and could probably very well embed a new structure at this point

Re: Crash logs
we are still waiting for the cleaning up of the presentation branch to be finished (or even to begin) until we merge everything back. this way we make sure that not too much hacks make it into the trunk

Re: Crash logs
in you logs it seems that you installed the trunk, is that right?
i'm not sure, but these problems could already be fixed in the presentation3 branch which was not yet merged back into trunk. do these crashes also appear in presentation3 ?

Re: hardware related bug
by saying you couldn't find any proprietary drivers do you mean that you tried installing them (the way i described) ? it is no surprise that you don't have much performance if you don't have proprietary drivers unfortunately :( is this graphics card an older model or is it from, let's say, within t...

Re: hardware related bug
the computer in ETL D96 (tardis-bxx ?!) are older than the ones in ETL E11 and have a slower graphics card. this. of course, causes quite a high performance drop. probably that's why you had less frames (how man less ? what factor? ) about your pc running ubuntu 10.04: - do you have a dedicated grap...

Re: Licensing
1) will do this as soon as i have time for it, but unfortunately i don't know that many authors/creations of content. maybe felix and beni (both of them) should have a closer look at it ;) about removing things: i think we should find out which files in the data-trunk we do not use and exclude them ...

Re: Debian Package
tried that (in a 32bit chroot) but so far without success. will try again later without chroot.
i added some of your packages to https://svn.orxonox.net/downloads/linux/debian
should i also add the other files or are they only neccessary when creating the packages ?
