Modelling: Drone

Hi, I'm working on creating a drone for the FPS levels in Orxonox.
As it is an observer devce it will have no actual weapons but the main
function will be monitoring your every move with the onboard camera.

Have a look at the Project Site and let me know if you have any suggestions.

Sounds cool. I also like your wiki page. Just one question: will there be a FPS level?

There is none planned for this term, as we want to focus on the space shooter.

Well, but the final Orxonox is supposed to be a mix between space shooter and FPS (, right?)

That is correct...
We decided that we have to focus on one game type to achieve something in one term, especially because we have to create the entire game first.

Well, we probably won't see this drone flying around in a level just yet. Firstly because we talk about a model here and not about the drone as a class/object in the code. So there will be first a little drone AI to implement which will be a task in the next semester. And of course: this semester we have space only, so the drone will not be used yet.

Of course later in the FPS mode, we will take full use of the drone.
