Money For Orxonox Server

hi all!

we are forced to move our server into a rack and therefore need to buy a new case for the PC. This case will cost us about 300 CHF.
see an example here
This is to much money for one person to afford. So let's collect money: I will donate

50 CHF

for this. If we don't get the money together, we will have to abandon our server and orxonox.net

Give 50.- too. No question about it. -> Maybe we just split the money now

Now some questions will remain.
Where to buy?
who got some time to build it together? (get the old computer cut out slices, rebuild it in new case, shove it back in the rack)
Where do we go for drinks to celebrate the new server?

Hi guys

Congratiulations on your new Server!

I just wanted to remind you that it needs to be a 2 HU server case since the space in the rack is limited. Don't care about the depth of the case, that should be fine in any case. (ok in any normal case).

Sure, I can order it, no prob... but I have to know the exact type we want. I was looking through the cases in www.digitec.ch, but do not find one thats appropriate... The fact, that it may only take up 2 slot-spaces does not make it easier too.

Any help here is appreciated!

Damn, so I cannot donate some money as well? I'd like to donate another 50.- if needed.
About the racks: I don't really know where to find what we need. Is it only the case or do we have to buy some other hardware as well?

The costs are more than expected: 311CHF

Do you know of other server cases to buy that are cheaper? It needs to be a 2U case (a case which uses 2 units in a server rack). Depth doesn't matter.

Perhaps we will need all the donations...
