I actually don't remember anymore about cpu cooling unit size. But it's a 700MHz processer, how big can these units grow? :D

We don't have a slim dvd rom. Let's hope we never have to reinstall anything from scratch. Perhaps we can put the rom in a hd slot...

Beni: thanks many times for doing this! I know you also have lots of things to do.

So, I immediately wrote an email to my uncle like a promised. He already wrote back a few days ago assuring me, that he'll order the case right away.

Therefore:

Status: Case is @ my home

Okay, I received the case today. My uncle got it today and brought it right to my place. It's only a matter of VSETH until we can forget this matter and have a new case for Nautilus.

The money: You guys can either give it to me in cash when we see each other at the Fondue or via e-banking. If you want I'll send you my IBAN number so you can send it to me.

Great. You finally got a server case.

Please send my an email (mattes at vseth dot ch) to make an appointment to migrate the server.

...as I mentioned earlier: If you need some additional hardware... ;) have a look at my room :)

So the case was safely brought to the sever room where our dear nautilus is residing. Unfortunately, nautilus runs on hardware from the olden days (I think my first computer I owned had similar hardware) and thus, the power supply is not compatible to the mother board. New mother board means new processor and maybe we need to change the graphics card, because the case is narrower.
If the RAM is not SD-RAM we have to buy new RAM as well. Depending on what lieni's computer consists of we get away pretty cheap, otherwise we have to buy that stuff.

Holy... I unfortunatelly don't have any old hardware anymore. I hope we don't have to buy new things, it's going to be expensive. If the graphics card is too big, we probably will need to buy a new one, because old graphics cards tend to be bigger. :D

There is always the possibility of on-board graphic and network support. That means: No cards and everything in the motherboard. If lieni has something like that, we'd be saved.
