Codenames and version numbers

Hi everyone.
Let's think about codenames for future Orxonox releases. I think it's cool and funny and a good organized roadmap and a motivating name for every milestone is already half of the work done (well, close )
Well, we discussed shortly about this matter at lunch and names from movies and stuff isn't that great without making the naming thing ridiculous.
We thought about giving the releases names from ITET lectures. Milestone 0.1 would be called "Digitech" in this case. Well it's probably a nice idea, but we should probably not rely on the ETH too much right now, since we search for a worldwide and none-ETH community as well.
So propose a naming system and give an example. I in my opinion like it when the names have something incremental. Meaning that we start at the bacteria or virus and stop at the homo sapiens (something like that).
A nice example is Ubuntu using a adjective and a animal name with the same letter at the beginning to name its releases. Also those animals get more intelligent and/or nicer to look at the higher the version goes.
With the version numbers we think it's good to go with the semesters. So this version here is 0.1 (since it's the first semester we started OrxonoxV2) monthly releases (if there are any) would be 0.1.10 for the October release. We get to 1.x when we think we can call it a game, a main release.
So questions now: what about codenames? Do we want any, if yes what kind and how? It would also be interesting to name the monthly releases. Ubuntu for example called the Feisty Fawn sub versions "herd", Gutsy Gibbon's sub versions are going to be "tribe".
Make your suggestions and we will start a poll if we have decided.
