Orxonox

Better early than late, I want to introduce the third Thinktank Meeting, where we talk about the future and the past. About what we want to change and what we want to keep.
The next PPS will be a special subject. Unfortunately we will not be able to introduce the PPS leaders, because we will now adapt the number of leaders according to the number of enlisted students.

First we need a location, then a time (let's doodle) and then we have to distribute the invitations.
After that we need a detailed list of subjects you guys want to discuss about.

The meeting will then be a lax discussion with drinking and snacks. We could also organize a grill when the weather is good, so we do not have to care about dinner.

Yeah, I guess it's too early before September. We won't have much to talk about I think.
So we could meet at Hofzges place in oerlikon. My new place close to the ETL is not smaller than his place, so if oerlikon is too far away for the majority we could also do it at my place.

Wow, you put a lot of pressure on us. Is it possible for us to do it then?

Unfortunately the last exam of the 4. semester is on the 8. September, so either Lieni or me will miss the meeting.

In case I'll be there, some topics we might want to discuss:
- The schedule of the PPS, because this semester will only have 13 weeks (last semester had 14, normal is 15)
- The rework of the World Entities
- Maybe some changes on the basic math-classes (vector and quaternion), because they are unpractical (I'll explain what I mean when I have time )

I have worked a bit with the Unreal Engine 2.0 those days, so I have a lot of ideas concerning the last 2 points and I might be interested to focus on them (of course after finishing my current work with the mover and the fps-level ).

I too have to learn for exams at the beginning of September. Although I don't think it's critical, I would be more at ease, when I wrote all the exams. Also I think we should maybe get more information from the ETH. Although I talked to young Kreuzer already, I don't know whether he talked to the upper people already or not and if Orxonox is a PPS for next year. I guess I will write him an e-mail in the next few days.

We could make something like a video conference for lieni, so he can participate . But I would rather like to make the meeting after the exams.

Also a point which should not be forgotten: Not having x3n with us is maybe a greater loss than lieni, because he is considered as a PPS leader for the next semester. No offense lieni, but your in Toronto and won't be that much of a help. I would like you to be there with us, since your a Orxonox veteran and you said you'll maybe create some extended graphics for Orxonox, but we should maybe have a preference for x3n.

I started a Doodle. It's not a problem when we do it when the semester already started, because the PPS starts in the second week. So we can have the meeting also at the end of September.
