Hi,

I decided to make a model for orxonox: A small helper robot for this and that. Maybe it is of use and you can add it to the game.

Looks great. How many vertices are you using and what resolution do you use for the texture.
Also, what is the story behind the robot. You already gave it a name, did you give it a purpose already?

The whole model is 988 faces, 892 vertices.
According to nicos guidelines I used for each object (3 in total) a texture with 1024*1024 px. They are ~650K in png format.

This robot is used in human space stations
- as mobile surveillance robot (the lens is used as a camera)
- to diagnose (technical) problems or failures in places where human mechanics cannot get.
- It is used for errands; delivering messages or data. In this case, the big lens is used to project a hologram of the recorded message into the air. Like that, the recipient can easily read the information.

My intention was primarily to make small helper robots that hover around the floor and add more life to the space station.

Sounds good. I think this is an essential part in every game: The live of the environment. A lot of games lack that, even though they weren't intended to put you into a lifeless place.
