Hi,
This morning I made some asteroids. They are really simple and didn't take much time. I could make much more sophisticated asteroids with more detailed textures, more polys, bumpmapping, but at the moment I dont think, it is necessary.

The texture is 512*512 px. ~500K in png format. I think this is passable, taking in account that the same texture is used for all asteroids in an asteroid field.

In this case this is really a good thing. Using the same texture for the asteroid field reduces the load on the graphics card a lot
