Transport Ship

At the moment, I'm working on a human transport ship:

The model is finished and I have already unwrapped the mesh. I just started creating the texture for hull and cargo containers.

Impressive, as always!

Though, I somewhat dislike the winglets - I think it looks better without them.

thanks for the positive feedback. i might add some more details to the texture, but at the moment, i lack ideas.

also, the model has a lot of faces, as you can see. i already saved polys where i could, but i don't want to sacrifice too much detail. if you look at the tubes you can see the faces, for example. anyway, the way it is now, you can fly by without noticing too much of the faces.

i'm not sure whether to simplify it further/again. one aspect is also, that it ts about 3x the size of the escort ship and another aspect is, that there will only be 1 or maybe two in a fleet, where there might be 10 escort ships. so the consequences are not too bad.

Yeah, I think 1700 faces are no problem.
