New Orxonox Music

Post by beni » Sun May 18, 2008 9:55 am

Hey Guys

Sebastian just sent be 4 samples of future Orxonox music. Have a listen and say if you like it and what you would change ;-).

Here the pieces:
Orxonox-Music
Maintheme proposal
Music when there is tight action
And another pieces

Needs more rock? More electronics? Faster slower?

Wow cool, I really like the music.
Orxonox music and main theme are very nice. There are maybe a little too much drums in the beginning of Orxonox music, but otherwise both samples really capture the spirit of open space. nice :D

The other two samples are not _that_ epic, but I like them as background music to increase the thrill. Maybe it's possible to make them loop seamlessly? But I'm not sure if this is possible.

By the way, "staying alive" doesn't sound to me like "tight action", more like "sneak around and search the enemy". For "tight action" I would rather suggest something like the fast parts of "fog and flashlights" - that rocks :)

I may have mixed them up, when I wrote the text for it :).

I already asked if they can be made loopable. Sebastian also said they would be longer if he's finished.

I like the music too, but I agree with fabian. probably the drums in the beginning of orxonox are a little bit too loud and the electric guitar seems a little bit too dominant and reminds me of metal. however I like these ambient and epic sounds very much.
