[Solved] Orxonox Packet cannot be upgraded

Post by beni » Sat Jul 03, 2010 10:18 am

I installed the Orxonox Packet for Ubuntu using the new PPA. Now there seems to be a new version online, but I can't upgrade to it. Instead it says the source does not support upgrade protocols. How can we change this?

With Ubuntu 10.04 they removed ttf-bitstream-vera from the official repos, to 'force' people to change to the 'better(tm)' ttf-dejavu fonts. I tried to copy a packge from another PPA but made a mistake with the version.
But as with every file in data: We should check which fonts we really need, and what their licenses are.

*Update: Rebuild it for lucid an put it in the ppa, should be ready soon: https://launchpad.net/~orxonox/+archive ... ld/1852122
